Rio + 20 – United Arab Emirates Pavilion
FSR Produções was responsible for the operations and logistics of the UEA Pavilion and its delegation at Rio +20. Installed at the Athletes Park, was a 500 square meter Pavillion, highlighting the use of clean energy and presenting the initiatives taken in the Emirates for sustainable development. The public could understand more about Masdar City, the successful "green" city built in the desert of Abu Dhabi in becoming a commercially viable example for the world. FSR Produções, in partnership with Dubai Government, held a press conference to promote three major annual events: Dubai Global Energy; Emirate's Energy Award and Water Technology Exhibition. During Rio+20, government leaders of United Arab Emirates attracted the Global Community to collaborate in their efforts on the research and development of alternative energy solutions.
I worked with Fernanda for a couple of months negotiating costs, usage, licensing and talent with the local Favela Morro da Mineira. Our production would not have been possible without Fernanda, she was instrumental in capturing beautiful within a very tight time frame and limited budget. I was very greatful for her hands on approach and experieced capabilities.
