Multi Orchestra International Conference – TOL 2014

The British Council in partnership with the Government of Minas Gerais held in April 2014, in Belo Horizonte (MG), the MULTIORQUESTRA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: TALENT, MANAGEMENT AND IMPACT. The event is part of a program called `Transform Orchestra Leadership’, which seeks to encourage and exchange experiences and best practices in the orchestra sector between Brazil and the UK. The Conference was held at the Palacio das Artes in Belo Horizonte (BH) where FSR was contracted to develop and pre produce the event in RJ including creation of the running order, script and welcoming of special Guests, then running the complete location logistics for the event in Belo Horizonte.
We had the pleasure of working with FSR and particularly Fernanda and Marcia in the design and build out of our Rio 2016 Hospitality Suite at the Sheraton in Leblon. From the initial designs to the final product, their attention to detail, creativity and really ‘listening’ to the scope and budget made this project seamless. The feedback from our client was “this is the best space we’ve created in the last 4 Olympics” and all of the credit goes to the FSR delivery team. It would be our privilege to partner again in Rio or elsewhere!!

I worked with Fernanda for a couple of months negotiating costs, usage, licensing and talent with the local Favela Morro da Mineira.
