Laureus World Sports Award

The Laureus World Sports Awards is the most prestigious Award in the international sports calendar.   The winners are chosen by the Laureus World Sports Academy, the ultimate sports jury, composed by 46 of the World’s greatest living sportsmen and sportswomen. Each member of the Academy votes to award the best Sportsperson of the year in several categories. The 2013 edition of the Laureus World Sports Awards took place at the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro and was presented by Morgan Freeman and Eva Longoria.
