Fórum Cultural Olímpico e Paraolímpico

The Brazilian Ministry of Culture and the British Council launched the Cultural Olympic and Paralympic Forum - held at the Fine Arts Museum of Rio de Janeiro on the 17th, 18th and 19th of April 2013. The Forum aimed to share knowledge and experience from the London 2012 Festival and the UK Cultural Olympiad - promoting rich discussion with the cultural institutions, artists and producers from Brazil and the UK. The panel discussions inspired the Brazilian cultural sector to engage in the cultural programme of the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2016. FSR produções™ was responsible for the production and operation of the main event as well as for the operation of the parallel events at the Arena da Pavuna – including producing the Gala Dinner Hosted by the British Consulate.
We had the pleasure of working with FSR and particularly Fernanda and Marcia in the design and build out of our Rio 2016 Hospitality Suite at the Sheraton in Leblon. From the initial designs to the final product, their attention to detail, creativity and really ‘listening’ to the scope and budget made this project seamless. The feedback from our client was “this is the best space we’ve created in the last 4 Olympics” and all of the credit goes to the FSR delivery team. It would be our privilege to partner again in Rio or elsewhere!!
